I try not to take anything for granted, I question everything, and I stand up for what truly matters to me. My story begins in war-torn Bosnia. I had an idyllic childhood in a close-knit community where people cared for and looked out for each other. But everything changed when the war broke out—people’s minds were poisoned into taking sides, turning neighbours into enemies. I have always refused to play into this toxic and divisive narrative. My hope is to promote connection, inclusion, and understanding through music, film, and performance. We may not be the same, but at the end of the day, we are more alike than different.
